I attempted to disable the warring factions per the ReadMe by setting MOO.ini_npc_invasion_min and MOO.ini_npc_invasion_max to 0. But theyre still pretty much everywhere after 3 or 4 days. Not sure what else I should try. This is an overhaul mod, improving many aspects of the game, while maintaining the overall feel of the game and ensuring compatibility with most other mods.

I'm contemplating between the options and I want to do a long play through but I'm not sure which option will be the best choice. I know I could do both but after researching the two, I just don't know.

Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul is dynamic, adding its content on the fly and is unpredictable for the most part, most similar to the original game experience. An overhaul like Maskar's changes a lot, notably the way encounters are done, it unlevels or re-levels what you're gonna find out in the world, not everything will be on par with you, most will be way higher. Probably scales up their damage independently of the in game difficulty setting too.
